The Maglan Friends Foundation (a registered nonprofit organization) was established on November 24, 2006, by alumni of the Maglan Commando Unit. Since its founding, the Foundation has served as a warm home for its alumni members – combat soldiers and combat support personnel in active duty, career service, reserve duty, and veterans.
The Foundation’s mission is to build and nurture a cohesive, active and supportive community. It provides members with the tools to integrate into Israeli society, take on leadership roles, and make meaningful contributions, all while preserving the core values ​​and heritage of the Maglan Unit.
In addition, the Foundation supports the Unit’s alumni and their families, assisting them both in daily life and at pivotal moments.
