The Foundation supports the Unit soldiers and their families from the moment they arrive at the base, assisting with their acclimation, throughout training, during both routine and emergency operations, and in preparation for discharge. The Foundation provides support to lone soldiers, takes part in unit ceremonies, participates in end-of-service and maneuver events, organizes joint sports events for soldiers and alumni, and serves as an information hub for parents. The Foundation also holds discharge conferences for soldiers, providing personal, professional care, and preparation for employment for civilian life. All activities are carried out in full coordination with the Unit, driven by a deep commitment to the well-being of the soldiers and the legacy of the Unit.
The Maglan Friends Foundation serves as an umbrella organization and a warm home for thousands of Maglan Unit alumni — combat soldiers and combat support personnel, past and present, in active duty and in the reserves.
