This program is designed to provide tailored support to the Unit’s alumni and their families, based on the understanding that the family is a central anchor in coping with the challenges of military service and reserve duty. We support spouses, partners, and their families, strengthening relationships and providing tools for effective communication and shared coping – rooted in the belief that resilience is built together, at home.
As part of a collaboration with Surfski Israel, members of the Maglan community are invited to take part in immersive sea paddling sessions. The activity combines physical challenge, mental focus, and a deep connection to nature—offering valuable tools for managing stress and fostering resilience. Surfski Israel brings exceptional professionalism and extensive maritime experience, along with personal attention and care for each participant.
For Maglan alumni, this is a unique opportunity to continue pushing boundaries—beyond the battlefield.
The group meets once every two weeks in Michmoret.
Participation costs ₪50 per person per session; the remainder is subsidized by the Foundation.
The Warm Home initiative was established by the Foundation to support the Unit’s alumni following the events of October 7, 2023, serving as a comprehensive framework for mental health and bureaucratic assistance and as a guiding center for processing combat experiences.
