Wounded & Bereaved Families Resilience

The Warm Home continues to walk hand-in-hand with those whose wounds are visible – and also with those whose injuries are quiet and hidden. We provide personalized and sensitive support to the Unit’s wounded soldiers, stemming from a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and psychological needs that arise throughout the rehabilitation process. We also accompany bereaved families – those who have lost their loved ones – offering a safe space for listening, support and presence, even when there are no words.

At any time, at any stage – we are here to strengthen, to be a resource, and to remain close.

Maglan Basketball Team

As part of a unique collaboration between the Maglan Friends Foundation and the Winning Assist Foundation, a new basketball team is launching for members of the Maglan community. This initiative aims to promote mental resilience, camaraderie, and a healthy lifestyle through team sports. Winning Assist brings extensive experience in using competitive sports as a tool for personal growth and rehabilitation. Together, we’re creating a supportive and empowering space for Maglan veterans—both on and off the court.

Resilience Journey For Bereaved Mothers

As part of our commitment to supporting bereaved families, the Maglan Alumni Association initiates unique international journeys for groups of bereaved mothers. These journeys offer a moment to breathe, a change of scenery, and a deep bond between women who understand one another—often without needing words. From the rivers of Africa to the peaks of the Balkans, the mothers embark on a journey that blends wild nature, rich cultural experiences, and dedicated emotional support. It is a brave opportunity to explore new worlds, reconnect with their former selves, and, most importantly, return—if only slightly—to themselves.
